Complaints about In Your Corner
If we get something wrong, tell us.
An organisation built around accountability has to be capable of receiving criticism about itself.
What can I complain about?
How to complain
Email hello@inyourcorner.org.uk with the subject Complaint about In Your Corner. Tell us what happened, what you think went wrong and what outcome you are asking for.
We aim to acknowledge service complaints within 2 working days and aim to provide a substantive Stage 1 response within 20 working days. If more time is needed, we should explain why.
Complaint about the founder
During the current founder-led stage, if a complaint concerns William McAllister personally, we will identify and document an appropriate independent review route before treating the complaint as finally determined. If that cannot yet be arranged, we will say so openly rather than pretending the process is independent.
Data protection and safeguarding
Complaints involving personal data or safeguarding may need to follow separate statutory or specialist processes in addition to the ordinary service-complaints process.
Strong criticism is not automatically abuse
A person does not lose the right to complain because they are angry, upset or strongly critical. We may set boundaries around genuinely abusive, threatening or discriminatory communication, but discomfort with criticism is not itself a reason to close a complaint.
